When you edit sequences inside your campaign, changes are not saved automatically. This is intentional. XemailCampaign gives you full freedom to experiment, rewrite, and rearrange your sequence content without committing every intermediate idea to the live campaign.
This allows you to think through your messaging properly before finalizing it.
Auto-saving every change can unintentionally lock half-written ideas or unstructured drafts into your campaign. To avoid this, XemailCampaign treats the sequence editor as a drafting space, not a live-saving environment.
You can freely:
Scribble rough ideas
Test multiple subject lines or message versions
Rearrange steps and copy
Refine tone and structure
None of this affects your campaign until you explicitly choose to save.
If you make any changes to your sequences, you need to manually save them for the updates to apply.
To do this correctly, make your edits inside the campaign sequence editor. Once you’re done, click outside the editor and then select Save Sequences or Update Sequences. This action confirms that your final version is ready to be applied to the campaign.
Until this step is completed, your changes remain in draft and will not reflect in live sending.
If you navigate away, refresh the page, or switch tabs without clicking Save Sequences, your edits will not be applied. The campaign will continue using the previously saved version of the sequence.
This ensures that only deliberate, finalized changes affect your outreach.
Use the editor to freely brainstorm and refine your ideas. Once the sequence structure and messaging feel right, review it one final time and then click Update Sequences to apply the changes.
This workflow helps maintain clean campaigns while giving you creative flexibility.
XemailCampaign does not auto-save sequence edits by design. You control exactly when changes go live by clicking Save Sequences, ensuring only intentional updates are applied to your campaign.
